The motivation continues at a pace now that I have seen that there are calls for bariatric seats at American sporting venues. One of our bucket list to do in Florida this year is to watch an Orlando Magic game at the Amway Centre, What I don’t want is someone coming up saying “Would sir like one of our plus size seats”. I have also found out that there are already plus seats at bus and railway stations.
This week I have continued to walk every morning between 6 and 9km depending on the time I have before work. I am now carrying 10kg in the rucksack when I next have to add weight it will have to be in the form of engineering bricks! I have to say I do feel better and am now a good size smaller so I am very happy and motivated to continue, I have a couple of milestones that I would like to achieve over the next month or two and will continue to work towards these.
I walked what was my long dog walk Sunday morning with the app running and found out that this is shorter that the walk I do when I have a bit more time in the morning. This just reinforced to me how much my fitness has improved in addition to loosing weight.
Since the 13 January I have walked 175 km in 21 hours, burning 22052 calories and I have lost 7 kgs (that’s a stone in real money!) But the true measure is I have had to make new holes in my belt!!!!!
To say I am pleased is an under statement I am well chuffed.
I will need some help about how to push this as my fitness improves as I only have the same amount of time and as I go on the improvements will become smaller and more difficult to make
So I remain on target to loose a pound a week till I fly to Florida.
