The football season has been over for Leeds fans for a few week, yet still we are able to influence outcomes, the win against Birmingham put them in the relegation mix, all I can say is while I don’t have any opinion on Birmingham City, Lee Clarke is not on my list of favourite football people.
Our final game is against Derby, another team that I really have no opinion on but their fans are some of the worst we visit they are probably the most unwelcoming and rudest we meet so if Leeds are able to scupper their promotion chances that would bee good, but then again if they went up we would not have to visit there next season so what ever the outcome it’s a no loose for me.
On to next season – I have heard a rumour that the season tickets renewals are to be announced this week, that will be an interesting event. I wonder what the prices will be set at? To be part of the “I am Leeds” season 2013/14 cost me £487 in the Kop and an additional £230 for the lad. What did we get for that?
- Poor facilities including:
- Dirty, smelly, overcrowded toilets
- Slippery floored concourse
- Expensive beer that I don’t like
- Seats that are too close to the row in front
- Nine wins
- Nine losses
- Four draws
- Sixty seven goals, 37 for Leeds
- Only one goalless draw
- Four 6 goal thrillers, one of which we even won!
I always empty my football betting account with a bet on Leeds getting promoted, @skybet called that in several weeks ago! Next season I would like us to finish as top Yorkshire side first, that should be a bit easier without Barnsley who have taken so many points off of us it is beyond a joke.
Is top half of the table too much to ask for? I don’t think so, roll on Saturday and Derby County and then the player of the year award.
Might have a bet on that one, umm Ross who?
